1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of onion soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 lb ham steak, cut into bite sized pieces
8 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
butter to prepare the baking dish and dot the top of the casserole. approximately 1/2 stick
1 -2 teaspoon seasoning salt or 1 -2 teaspoon your favorite all-purpose seasoning. i use a mix salt, pepper and garlic powder

Steps:

  • Combine the three soups (NO water!) in a large measuring cup and blend together well.

6 -8 peeled potatoes
milk
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
flour
1 1/2 cups cubed ham
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Wash and peel potatoes, and slice into thin slices no 1/8 of an inch thick.
  • Butter a casserole dish, and place an even layer of potatoes in the bottom of dish.
