Tips:
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
- If you don't have a bread machine, you can make the dough by hand. Just be sure to knead it for at least 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for at least an hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- When rolling out the dough, be sure to do it on a lightly floured surface to prevent sticking.
- To make the braids, simply divide the dough into 3 equal pieces. Roll each piece out into a long rope, about 18 inches long.
- Place the ropes side by side and pinch the ends together. Then, braid the ropes together, starting from the center and working your way out.
- Place the braids on a greased baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake the braids in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
