1 cup butter
1 ½ cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¾ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups peanut butter chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the peanut butter chips. Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup hershey's cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs; beat well.

1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups reese's peanut butter chips
2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
2/3 cup hershey's cocoa
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Cream butter or margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  • Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt -- Add to creamed mixture.
  • Stir in peanut butter chips.
  • Drop by teaspoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheet, OR chill until firm enought to handle and shape small amounts of dough into 1-inch balls.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork.

2 eggs
