Tips:

  • Use fresh fruit: Fresh fruit will give your ambrosia salad the best flavor and texture. If you can't find fresh fruit, you can use frozen fruit that has been thawed and drained.
  • Choose a variety of fruit: The more variety of fruit you use, the more flavorful your ambrosia salad will be. Some good choices include oranges, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, and bananas.
  • Don't overmix the salad: Ambrosia salad is best when the fruit is still intact. If you overmix it, the fruit will become mushy.
