Tips:
- Make sure the butter is cold and firm before you start working with it. This will help prevent the dough from becoming too greasy.
- Don't overwork the dough. Overworking will make the dough tough.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out. This will help prevent the dough from sticking to your hands and will make it easier to work with.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. If the dough is too thick, the cookies will be too dry. If the dough is too thin, the cookies will be too crispy.
- Brush the dough with melted butter before sprinkling it with the nut filling. This will help the filling stick to the dough.
- Bake the cookies until they are golden brown. If the cookies are baked for too long, they will be too dry.

The cookies are then baked until they are golden brown and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Hungarian Nut Crescents are a popular cookie in Hungary and are often served during the Christmas season.
