PERFECT SUMMER FRUIT SALAD
The perfect fruit salad for a backyard bbq or any occasion. There are never leftovers! This is one of my favorite fruit salad recipes, as I think the sauce really makes it. This salad is tastier the longer you can let it soak in its juices. I prefer 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator before I serve it. Enjoy.

OVERNIGHT FRUIT SALAD
I first tasted this rich, old-fashioned fruit salad at my wedding reception many years ago. The ladies who did the cooking wouldn't share the recipe at the time, but I eventually got it. I've made it for many meals, and our daughters copied the recipe when they married. -Eileen Duffeck, Lena, Wisconsin

Tips:
- Choose ripe, fresh fruits: The fresher the fruits, the better your fruit salad will taste. Avoid fruits that are bruised or overripe.
- Wash your fruits thoroughly: Before cutting and mixing your fruits, make sure to wash them thoroughly under cold running water. This will remove any dirt, bacteria, or pesticides.
- Cut your fruits into bite-sized pieces: This will make them easier to eat and will also help to prevent them from browning.
- Use a variety of fruits: The more variety of fruits you use, the more flavorful your fruit salad will be. Some good combinations include berries, citrus fruits, melons, and tropical fruits.
- Add some sweetness: If your fruits are not very sweet, you can add a little bit of sugar or honey to taste. You can also add some yogurt or cottage cheese for a creamy, tangy flavor.
- Chill your fruit salad before serving: This will help to keep it fresh and refreshing.
