ITALIAN BAKED CHICKEN AND PASTA
Courtesy of Giada DeLaurentiis! I made this today after sitting on the recipe for quite some time. I am sorry I held on to it. It will be in my regular rotation from now on, it was easy, quick and very tasty. I will change a few things though...I will use tomatoes with Italian seasoning and maybe a little more cheese next time! I even think it would be good if you added some ricotta to the mix. There are a lot of possibilities, but it was good as it is written. I doubled the recipe and it was fine. Enjoy!

Tips:
- Brine the chicken: This step is essential for juicy, flavorful chicken. Brining helps to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
- Use a flavorful marinade: The marinade is what gives the chicken its flavor, so make sure to use a flavorful one. The recipe includes a simple marinade made with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs, but you can use any marinade you like.
- Roast the chicken at a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy skin and juicy meat. The recipe recommends roasting the chicken at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, then reducing the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and roasting for an additional 30 minutes.
- Use a variety of vegetables: The vegetables in this recipe add color, flavor, and nutrients. You can use any vegetables you like, but the recipe recommends using a combination of carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes.
- Make sure the pasta is cooked al dente: Al dente pasta is slightly firm to the bite and has a slightly chewy texture. This is the ideal texture for pasta dishes with sauce, as the pasta will continue to cook in the sauce and absorb some of the flavor.
- Garnish the dish with fresh herbs: Fresh herbs add a pop of color and flavor to the dish. The recipe recommends garnishing the dish with fresh parsley, but you can use any fresh herbs you like.
Conclusion:
This Italian Herb Baked Chicken Pasta is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, the vegetables are tender and colorful, and the pasta is cooked perfectly. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
