Steps:
- Cut jalapeños. Mix cream cheese with 2/3 of cheddar, jalapeños, salt, and pepper. Cut dough in half and wrap in bacon. Place in cast iron pan. Place cream cheese mixture in the middle and add the rest of the cheddar on top. Grill on indirect heat at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
Tips:
- Use fresh jalapeños for the best flavor. If you can't find fresh jalapeños, you can use canned jalapeños, but be sure to drain and rinse them well before using.
- To make the poppers easier to stuff, cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and ribs.
- Use a variety of cheeses for the filling. A good combination is cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
- If you like spicy food, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the filling.
- To make the bread easier to pull apart, use a soft, fluffy bread, such as white bread or sourdough bread.
- Be sure to brush the bread with melted butter before baking. This will help the bread to brown and give it a crispy crust.
- Serve the pull-apart bread warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Conclusion:
Jalapeño popper pull-apart bread is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for parties and potlucks. It is a great way to use up leftover jalapeños and bread. This bread is sure to be a hit with your friends and family.
