JUST PEACHY

Just Peachy image

Nothing screams summer more than peaches and frozen drinks! This adult beverage is perfect to sip on to keep you cool at your summer gatherings. I used a moscato but any cool crisp white wine would do ,like a riesling. This is not overly sweet but once you top it with the reddi whip give it a few good stirs and it is perfect....

Provided by Debbie W

Categories     Cocktails

Time 35m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 bottle moscato or any other sweet white wine
1 c minute maid peach punch
1/2 c peach liqueur or schnapps
1/4 c vodka
1 lb frozen peaches
2 c ice cubes
reddi whip

Steps:

  • 1. Gather Ingredients
  • 2. Pour wine , peach punch, vodka, peach liqueur, and frozen peaches into your blender and blend well. Add ice cubes and blend well. Either pour into a plastic pitcher or keep in you blender and place into your freezer for 30 or until a nice slushy consistency.
  • 3. Pour into a glass of your choice and garnish with a big squirt of reddi whip . As you drink it give a few big stirs to incorporate the reddi whip for the sweetness.
  • 4. Garnishing options also are a peach slice or mint leaves.. ENJOY!!

Tips:

  • Select the right peaches: Choose ripe, firm peaches with a deep yellow or orange hue. Avoid peaches with bruises or blemishes.
  • Prepare the peaches properly: Wash the peaches thoroughly and pat them dry. For most recipes, you'll need to peel and slice the peaches. To easily peel a peach, score a shallow X on the bottom of the peach and immerse it in boiling water for 30 seconds. Then, transfer the peach to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. The peel should now slip off easily.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your dish will taste. Look for fresh, ripe peaches, and use high-quality vanilla extract, honey, and spices.
  • Don't overcook the peaches: Peaches are best when they are cooked just until they are tender. Overcooking will make them mushy and bland.
  • Serve the peaches warm or at room temperature: Peaches are delicious served warm or at room temperature. If you are serving them as a dessert, you can also chill them for a refreshing treat.

Conclusion:

Peaches are a delicious and versatile fruit that can be used in a variety of recipes. From sweet to savory, there are endless possibilities when it comes to cooking with peaches. Whether you are making a simple peach cobbler or a more elaborate dish like grilled peaches with burrata and prosciutto, you are sure to find a recipe that you and your family will love. So next time you see peaches at the market, be sure to pick up a few and experiment with one of these delicious recipes.
