Tips:

  • Use fresh gumdrops. Stale gumdrops will not melt properly and will make your cookies tough.
  • Do not overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at a low temperature. Baking the cookies at a low temperature will help them cook evenly without burning.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them. Storing the cookies while they are still warm will cause them to become soft and sticky.

Conclusion:

Spiced gumdrop cookies are a delicious and festive treat that is perfect for any occasion. With their chewy texture and sweet, tangy flavor, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you are looking for a fun and easy cookie recipe, give these spiced gumdrop cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
