Time 4h

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Accent seasoning
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 cup soy sauce
5 1/2 cups salad oil
steak, of your choice

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Put in a container with a top; shake well. Pour over steaks marinate for 3-4 hours.
  • Grill or broil steaks.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak. A good marinade can help tenderize a tough cut of steak, but it can't work miracles. If you're looking for a melt-in-your-mouth steak, start with a cut that is naturally tender, such as a ribeye, strip steak, or tenderloin.
  • Use a flavorful marinade. The best marinades are packed with flavor, so don't be afraid to experiment with different ingredients. Some popular options include olive oil, garlic, herbs, spices, and citrus juices.
  • Let the steak marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. Marinating the steak for too long can actually toughen it, so be sure to follow the recipe's instructions carefully.
  • Cook the steak over high heat. This will help to sear the meat and lock in the juices. If you're cooking the steak on a grill, be sure to preheat the grill to high heat before adding the steak.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.

Conclusion:

Marinating steak is a great way to add flavor and tenderness to your favorite cut of meat. With a little planning and effort, you can create a delicious and memorable meal that your family and friends will love. So next time you're looking for a great way to cook steak, be sure to give marinating a try.
