Tips:

  • To ensure the chicken is cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C) before removing it from the pan.
  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can check if the chicken is cooked by cutting into the thickest part of the breast. The juices should run clear, with no pink in the center.
  • For a crispier chicken, increase the heat to medium-high and cook the chicken for a shorter amount of time, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • To make the sauce, use a good quality orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau. This will give the sauce a rich, complex flavor.
  • If you don't have orange liqueur, you can substitute orange juice or lemon juice. However, the flavor of the sauce will not be as complex.
  • Serve the chicken immediately, topped with the orange-Frangelico sauce. Garnish with fresh orange slices or chopped parsley.

Conclusion:

This macadamia chicken with orange-Frangelico sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or weeknight meal. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the sauce is rich and flavorful. Serve it over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
