1 1/2 cups diced peeled pitted mango (about 1 1/2 large)
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
1/4 cup low-fat (1%) milk
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
2 mango wedges or slices (for garnish)

  • Combine diced mango, yogurt, 1 cup ice cubes, milk, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground cardamom in blender. Puree until smooth. Pour smoothie into 2 glasses. Garnish each glass with mango wedge and serve.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe mangoes: The riper the mangoes, the sweeter and more flavorful your lassi ice pops will be.

  • Add honey or maple syrup to taste: If you like your lassi ice pops sweeter, add honey or maple syrup to taste.
  • Use fresh turmeric root: Fresh turmeric root has a more vibrant flavor than ground turmeric.
