1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
1 medium onion, chopped
4 medium carrots, washed, pared & sliced
1 garlic clove (or table spoon crushed)
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 heads celery, with leafy greens roughly chopped
4 small red potatoes
4 small yukon gold potatoes
2 beef bouillon cubes

  • 10.Enjoy!
  • 11.You can easily make additions to this: pearl onions,.

Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality ingredients, including a good cut of beef, fresh vegetables, and a robust red wine.
  • Brown the beef in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker. This will help to develop its flavor and create a richer sauce.
  • Add plenty of vegetables to the slow cooker. This will help to create a healthy and flavorful meal.
  • Use a good quality red wine. The wine will add flavor and depth to the sauce.
  • Cook the stew on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. This will allow the flavors to meld and the beef to become tender.
  • Serve the stew over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Conclusion:

This hearty and flavorful stew is a perfect meal for a cold winter day. The beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the vegetables are cooked to perfection. The red wine adds a rich and complex flavor to the sauce. This stew is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
