THE BEST MEXICAN TORTILLA ROLL UPS
I am requested to make these all the time. They are easy, and people LOVE them. I developed this over the years to suit our tastes. There are recipes close to this one, but I like mine best! The amount of tortillas you need will depend on how thick you spread the mixture. I like them thick. Zaar wont let me list the chilies, olives and pimentos correctly. But I buy the small can of each. They are already chopped small, so they mix in well with the cream cheese.

Tips:
- Choose the right tortillas. Fresh, pliable tortillas are essential for making good roll-ups. If the tortillas are too dry or brittle, they will crack and break when you roll them up.
- Warm the tortillas before using them. This will make them more pliable and easier to roll. You can warm the tortillas in a microwave, oven, or on a skillet.
- Use a variety of fillings. The possibilities are endless when it comes to fillings for tortilla roll-ups. You can use anything from cooked chicken or beef to refried beans, vegetables, or cheese. Get creative and experiment with different flavors and textures.
- Don't overfill the tortillas. If you put too much filling in the tortillas, they will be difficult to roll up and they may fall apart.
- Roll the tortillas tightly. This will help to keep the fillings inside and prevent them from falling out.
- Serve the tortilla roll-ups with your favorite dipping sauce. Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream are all great options.
Conclusion:
Tortilla roll-ups are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a variety of fillings and dipping sauces to choose from, the possibilities are endless. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give tortilla roll-ups a try!
