2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ cups quick cooking oats
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ cups butter
2 cups prepared mincemeat pie filling
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 cup confectioners' sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk

Steps:

  • In large mixing bowl stir together: flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda. Melt butter or margarine over low heat and stir in until well blended. Set aside 2 cups of this mixture.

2 c rolled oats
1 3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 c brown sugar
1 c shortening
1 1/2 c mincemeat

  • 1. Rub the Oats through your hands until they become fine, and then measure.
