Openface Italian Tuna Melt image

I love a good tuna sandwich. Always try to make different types. Hope You enjoy my Italian version! Like a tuna pizza pie!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 small can tuna (oil or water)
2 slice good italian bread
1-2 tomatoes sliced
1 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 pinch each celery salt, pepper,dried oregano & basil
1/4 c parmigiano-reggiano, grated
grated or slices mozz cheese or italian blend
olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. Drain and mix tuna with, mayo, celery salt & oregano. Place bread on baking dish, top with tuna mix. Add sliced tomato sprinkle with oregano then parm and mozzerella. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake on 375 til cheese melts about 7min.
  • 2. Also great topped with pepper rings.
