Tips:

  • Choose ripe oranges and lemons: The flavor of your lemonade will be best if you use ripe, juicy oranges and lemons. Look for fruit that is heavy for its size and has a bright, even color.
  • Wash the oranges and lemons thoroughly: Before you juice the oranges and lemons, be sure to wash them thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides. You can use a vegetable brush to scrub the fruit, or simply wash it under running water.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the oranges and lemons: A sharp knife will make it easier to cut the oranges and lemons and will help you avoid making a mess. Be careful not to cut yourself!
  • Remove the seeds from the oranges and lemons: Before you juice the oranges and lemons, be sure to remove the seeds. Seeds can add a bitter taste to your lemonade.
  • Use fresh mint leaves: Fresh mint leaves will give your lemonade a refreshing flavor. If you don't have fresh mint leaves, you can use dried mint leaves, but they won't be as flavorful.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking: The amount of sugar in this recipe is just a suggestion. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. If you like your lemonade tart, you can use less sugar. If you like it sweet, you can use more sugar.
