Time 1h30m

Number Of Ingredients 6

8 eggs, separated
10 1/2 oz sugar
2 Tbsp water
2 stick butter, melted
4 c lukewarm milk
1 1/2 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease 9 x 13 pan. Set aside. Beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside. Beat egg yolk and sugar until light. Add water and melted butter. Gradually add flour. Mix well. Then add the lukewarm milk. Mix well.
  • 2. Fold one third of egg whites into egg yolk mixture. Fold until well incorporated. Fold in remaining egg whites, one third at a time. I had to use my whisk and gently break up some of the egg whites. Batter will be thin.
  • 3. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 325 for 60-70 minutes or until golden brown. After 60 minutes, mine kind of jiggled in the middle, so I did another ten minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Tips:

  • Use quality ingredients: Fresh, high-quality ingredients will always yield the best results. This is especially important for the chocolate, which is the star of the show in this cake.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the cake tough and dense. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake at the right temperature: The cake should be baked at a moderate temperature (350°F) so that it has time to rise and cook evenly.
  • Don't overbake the cake: Overbaking can make the cake dry and crumbly. Check the cake for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it: This will help the frosting to set properly.

Conclusion:

This miracle cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its moist, chocolatey flavor and fluffy texture, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this miracle cake a try. You won't be disappointed!
