Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe strawberries for the vinaigrette. Frozen or thawed strawberries will not give you the same vibrant flavor.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of honey in the vinaigrette to taste. If you like a sweeter dressing, add more honey. If you prefer a more tart dressing, use less honey or omit it altogether.
  • If you don't have balsamic vinegar on hand, you can substitute white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
  • This salad is a great way to use up leftover grilled chicken or salmon. You can also add cooked bacon, hard-boiled eggs, or crumbled cheese.
  • If you're making the salad ahead of time, wait to add the vinaigrette until just before serving. This will prevent the greens from wilting.

Conclusion:

This mixed green salad with strawberry vinaigrette is a delicious and refreshing dish that is perfect for any occasion. It's light and healthy, yet still flavorful and satisfying. The combination of sweet strawberries, tangy balsamic vinegar, and creamy goat cheese is sure to please everyone at the table.
