Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups white sugar
2 tablespoons hershey cocoa powder
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups crunchy peanut butter or 2 cups chunky peanut butter

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, cocoa and milk in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, whisking constantly.
  • Remove form heat.
  • Whisk in Vanilla.
  • Stir in Peanut Butter.
  • Mix well.
  • Spread while still fairly warm on a cooled sheet cake.
  • Let cool completely.
  • This is a thick, fudgy type frosting.

This is just like the frosting used on Texas sheet cakes except it has crunchy peanut butter in it, making it taste just like a Mr.Goodbar candy bar.

2 cups white sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
¾ cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups crunchy peanut butter

Steps:

  • Combine the sugar, cocoa, and milk in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in the vanilla and peanut butter. Mix well. Spread over hot cake while frosting is also still hot. Let frosted cake cool before cutting.

1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs eggs
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda

Steps:

  • Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars together in a bowl; beat in eggs.
  • In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture. Put dough in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Roll dough into 1 inch balls and put on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to brown.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup smooth peanut butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 organic large egg, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup peanut butter chips
1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Whisk together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugars. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Add the flour in thirds and stir until smooth. Fold in the peanut butter chips. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized balls (about 1 1/2 tablespoons). At this point you can roll them in granulated sugar or you can press each cookie down with the tines of a fork. Either way, bake for 10 minutes, in a nonstick baking pan, rotating the pan halfway through baking time. Cool the cookies on a rack before serving.

2 cups chunks of Mr. Goodbars

Steps:

  • 1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside. 2.Whisk together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Add the flour in thirds and stir until smooth. Fold in Mr. Goodbar chunks. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight. 3.Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized balls, flattening slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through baking time. After removing from oven, leave cookies on cookie sheets for 1 minute before removing to wire rack.
