Tips:

  • To achieve the perfect chewiness, slightly underbake the cookies. A minute or two less in the oven can make a big difference.
  • Make sure the butter is at room temperature before creaming it with the sugars. This will help the cookies spread and bake evenly.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing can make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Use a cookie scoop to ensure that the cookies are all the same size. This will help them bake evenly.
  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the cookies from sticking.
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven. This will help them bake evenly.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Conclusion:

These rich vanilla chocolate chip cookies are the perfect treat for any occasion. They're soft, chewy, and packed with flavor. With a few simple tips, you can easily make these cookies at home and enjoy them with your family and friends.
