Tips:

  • To achieve a perfectly golden crust, sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the top before baking. This will create a delicious and aesthetically pleasing crust.
  • If you prefer a thicker crust, use a combination of all-purpose flour and rolled oats. The oats will absorb moisture and create a denser, more substantial crust.
  • For a crispy crust, preheat your oven to a high temperature before baking. This will help to create a quick burst of heat that will crisp up the crust.
  • If you like a gooey, syrupy filling, use a combination of fresh and frozen fruit. The frozen fruit will release its juices as it thaws, creating a delicious syrup that will permeate the cobbler.
  • For a more decadent cobbler, add a dollop of butter or a scoop of ice cream to the top before serving. This will add a rich, creamy flavor that will take your cobbler to the next level.

With its versatility and endless possibilities, the non-fruit cobbler is a dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
