15 cherries
⅔ cup all purpose flour

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for dusting

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe cherries. This will give your clafoutis the best flavor. If you can't find fresh cherries, you can use frozen or canned cherries, but they won't be as flavorful.
  • Pit the cherries before using them. You can do this with a cherry pitter or by using a knife to cut around the pit.
  • Use a good quality vanilla extract. This will also help to enhance the flavor of your clafoutis.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the clafoutis tough.
  • Bake the clafoutis until it is just set. The center should be slightly wobbly when you shake the pan.
  • Serve the clafoutis warm or at room temperature. It is also delicious served chilled.

Conclusion:

Cherry clafoutis is a classic French dessert that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. It is a great way to use up fresh cherries, and it can be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. With its simple ingredients and delicious flavor, cherry clafoutis is a must-try for any home cook.
