1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Prepare all your ingredients before you start cooking. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you have everything you need on hand.
  • Use Fresh, Quality Ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your dish will taste. Whenever possible, use organic, free-range, and locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Pay Attention to Cooking Time: Overcooking can dry out and toughen your chicken. Be careful not to overcook the chicken, especially if you are using boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  • Simmer, Don't Boil: When making the sauce, bring it to a simmer and then reduce the heat to low. Simmering will help the flavors to develop without burning the sauce.
  • Use a Heavy-Bottomed Pan: A heavy-bottomed pan will help to distribute the heat evenly and prevent the sauce from burning.
  • Serve Immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. The chicken will be most tender and juicy, and the sauce will be at its peak flavor.

Conclusion:

One-pan honey garlic chicken is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. The chicken is tender and juicy, the sauce is flavorful and sticky, and the whole dish comes together in under 30 minutes. Serve it over rice, noodles, or your favorite vegetables for a complete and satisfying meal. This recipe is sure to become a family favorite!
