PINEAPPLE, ORANGE, MANGO, BANANA SMOOTHIE

Pineapple, Orange, Mango, Banana Smoothie image

I make this delkcious smoothie every single morning, and not only is it an extremely healthy way to start the day but it's also very quick & simple to make! The added protein powder replaces any high-calorie protein that you might normally have on the morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) and it will help keep you full longer than if it were just a pure fruit smoothie. I buy the frozen pineapple and mango chunks from Costco, and each week I buy a bunch of ripe bananas and peel them, cut them in half and throw them in a bag in the freezer. Then it takes me less than 5 mins to make it in the morning. And this has also replaced my morning coffee habit of 2 cups a day because I add 1/8 tsp of caffeine powder to it as well.

KALE ORANGE BANANA SMOOTHIE

Kale Orange Banana Smoothie image

Sometimes it tastes like Fruit Loops® cereal, but, of course, this is actually good for you. My 14-month-old loves this for breakfast. Furthermore, he can feed himself (with a sippy cup) while I make breakfast and lunch for the older kids. The texture is similar to pudding. If runnier texture is desired, add ice or milk.

MANGO, PINEAPPLE, BANANA, ORANGE SMOOTHIE RECIPE - (4.5/5)

Mango, Pineapple, Banana, Orange Smoothie Recipe - (4.5/5) image

Provided by lakecar

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup of frozen mango, cut into small chunks
1 cup of frozen pineapple, cut into small chunks
3/4 of a ripe banana (just munch on the 1/4 left as you are prepping your smoothie!)
2/3 cup Greek yogurt
1 1/2 cup of orange juice

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Voila!

Tips:

  • Choose ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your smoothie will be.
  • Use frozen bananas: Freezing the bananas before using them will make the smoothie thicker and creamier.
  • Add a variety of fruits: In addition to oranges and bananas, you can also add other fruits to your smoothie, such as strawberries, blueberries, or mangoes.
  • Use fresh or frozen oranges: If you're using fresh oranges, be sure to peel and segment them before adding them to the smoothie. If you're using frozen oranges, be sure to thaw them before using.
  • Add yogurt or milk: Yogurt or milk will help to make your smoothie creamier and more filling.
  • Sweeten to taste: If your smoothie is too tart, you can add a little bit of honey or maple syrup to sweeten it.
  • Garnish with a twist of orange: A twist of orange will add a pop of color and flavor to your smoothie.

Conclusion:

Orange banana smoothies are a delicious and refreshing way to start your day or refuel after a workout. They're packed with nutrients and antioxidants, and they're also a good source of fiber. If you're looking for a healthy and delicious smoothie recipe, be sure to give this one a try.
