Tips:

  • For the best results, use a high-quality orange marmalade. A good marmalade will have a bright, citrusy flavor and a thick, spreadable consistency.
  • If you don't have orange marmalade, you can substitute another type of citrus marmalade, such as lemon or grapefruit. However, the flavor of your orange beef teriyaki will be slightly different.
  • You can use any type of beef for this recipe, but flank steak or skirt steak are good choices. These cuts of beef are relatively inexpensive and they cook quickly.
  • Be sure to slice the beef against the grain. This will help to make the beef more tender.
  • If you don't have a meat mallet, you can use a rolling pin to pound the beef.
  • Don't overcook the beef. The beef should be cooked until it is just cooked through. Overcooked beef will be tough and chewy.
  • Serve the orange beef teriyaki over rice or noodles. You can also serve it with a side of vegetables.

Conclusion:

Orange beef teriyaki is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of sweet and savory flavors is sure to please everyone at the table.
