2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Tips:

  • To ensure the ham is cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should reach 140°F (60°C) for medium-rare, 145°F (63°C) for medium, or 150°F (66°C) for well-done.
  • For a crispier crust on the ham, cook it for a few minutes longer on each side.
  • Be careful not to overcrowd the pan when cooking the ham. This will prevent it from cooking evenly.
  • If you don't have balsamic vinegar, you can substitute apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar.
  • Serve the ham with your favorite sides, such as roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, or green beans.
