This fish will just melt in your mouth! I like to serve over a quinoa-kale salad. Also, please don't use regular bread crumbs as they are too dense.

PANKO FRIED HALIBUT CHEEKS

Panko Fried Halibut Cheeks image

Halibut cheeks are truly tender, flavorful morsels. I don't like to use too many herbs or spices with them just let the natural flavor come through. You could add some garlic to the pan or mix in some fresh dill - it's up to you. This is how I enjoy them served with some Tartar sauce & an additional wedge of lemon. You may substitute regular bread crumbs but Panko are better

Tips:

- Choose high-quality halibut fillets for the best results. Look for fillets that are firm and have a mild, fresh smell. - Use a light hand when breading the halibut fillets. Too much breading will make the fish heavy and greasy. - Cook the halibut fillets in a preheated oven until they are cooked through but still flaky. Overcooking will make the fish dry and tough. - Serve the halibut fillets immediately with your favorite sides. Some good options include roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Conclusion:

Panko-crusted halibut with Swiss chard is a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. The halibut is flaky and moist, while the panko breading is crispy and flavorful. The Swiss chard adds a touch of bitterness that balances out the richness of the fish. This dish is sure to impress your guests and is easy to make. Give it a try tonight!
