ALCOHOLIC SWEET PEACH TEA
A fresh, peachy sweet tea that's perfect for hot summer days. I am definitely NOT a fan of sweet or flavored tea, but I came up with this concoction on accident, and LOVE it. Remember, the amount of alcohol you want to use is up to personal taste. I personally use a little more vodka than peach schnapps. I just like a touch of the peach flavoring.

Steps:
- Bring 3 cups (750ml) water and the sugar to a boil in a pot. Add the peaches and vanilla bean (including the seeds). Simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
- Discard the vanilla bean. Pour the peaches and syrup into a blender and puree until smooth. Strain the peach puree through a sieve into a pitcher.
- Bring 4 cups (1 liter) water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat, add the tea and steep according to the package directions. Strain to remove the tea leaves, then add the tea to the pitcher with the peach puree. Stir to combine. Refrigerate until cold.
- The pulp from the fruit may have separated from the tea during chilling, so be sure to stir it before serving. Pour over ice cubes in tall glasses and garnish with vanilla beans.
- Cook's Note: When blending hot liquids, remove liquid from the heat and allow to cool for at least 5 minutes. Transfer liquid to a blender or food processor and fill it no more than halfway. If using a blender, release one corner of the lid. This prevents the vacuum effect that creates heat explosions. Place a towel over the top of the machine, pulse a few times then process on high speed until smooth.

COPYCAT STARBUCKS SHAKEN ICED PEACH GREEN TEA LEMONADE
I hardly ever go to Starbucks any more, after purchasing a Keruig years ago. Tried one of these a few days ago and have been back 3 times. Last time, I thought this was crazy, so I questioned the cashier. He said use 7 squirts of peach syrup. Some Starbuck's sells peach, almost all stores that have a Starbucks inside will sell the syrups. I have bought this at Von's and at Target. I purchased the plunger which was under $3.00 (I love that thing!) because the cashier had no idea what 7 squirts measured out to be. It's so much easier to squirt out the syrup, then measure into each glass, or so, I think. Hope you enjoy as much as I do! No more money spent at Starbucks on these babies!

Tips:
- Choose ripe, flavorful peaches: The quality of your peaches will greatly impact the taste of your tea. Look for peaches that are fragrant, have a deep yellow or orange color, and give slightly when you press them.
- Use fresh, filtered water: The quality of your water will also affect the taste of your tea. If you have access to filtered or spring water, use that instead of tap water.
- Sweeten to taste: Some people like their peach tea sweet, while others prefer it unsweetened. Add sugar, honey, or another sweetener to taste.
- Chill before serving: Peach tea is best served chilled. You can either chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight, or you can make it ahead of time and freeze it.
Conclusion:
Peach tea is a refreshing and flavorful drink that is perfect for enjoying on a hot summer day. It is also a healthy alternative to sugary sodas and juices. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make delicious peach tea at home.
