Tips:

  • Use day-old bread for a sturdier bread pudding. Fresh bread will be too soft and mushy.
  • If you don't have a crock pot, you can bake the bread pudding in a 350°F oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Serve the bread pudding warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
  • For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of milk.
  • Add a teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg to the bread pudding for a warm, autumnal flavor.
  • For a tropical twist, add a cup of chopped mango or papaya to the bread pudding.
  • For a nutty flavor, add a cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to the bread pudding.

Conclusion:

Pineapple bread pudding is a delicious and easy dessert that can be made with just a few simple ingredients. It's a great way to use up day-old bread, and it's perfect for potlucks and parties. With its sweet and tangy flavor, pineapple bread pudding is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
