Tips:

  • Use a well-seasoned cast iron skillet. This will help the beef and potatoes get a nice, crispy crust.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet. If you add too much beef and potatoes, they won't cook evenly.
  • Cook the beef and potatoes in batches if necessary. If your skillet isn't big enough to cook everything at once, cook the beef and potatoes in batches.
  • Use a spatula to break up the beef as it cooks. This will help it cook more evenly.
  • Season the beef and potatoes generously. Don't be afraid to add salt, pepper, and other spices to taste.
  • Add the vegetables towards the end of cooking. This will help them retain their crispiness.
  • Serve the potato and beef tortilla skillet immediately. This dish is best enjoyed hot out of the skillet.

Conclusion:

The potato and beef tortilla skillet is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It's also a great way to use up leftover beef and potatoes. You can also top the skillet with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, salsa, or guacamole. So next time you're looking for a hearty and satisfying meal, give the potato and beef tortilla skillet a try.
