Tips:

  • Use fresh pumpkin puree. Fresh pumpkin puree has a more vibrant flavor than canned puree. You can make your own pumpkin puree by roasting a pumpkin and then scooping out the flesh.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make the waffles tough. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Cook the waffles on a hot waffle iron. A hot waffle iron will help the waffles cook evenly and give them a crispy exterior.
  • Serve the waffles immediately. Waffles are best served immediately after they are cooked. If you need to store the waffles, let them cool completely and then freeze them in a single layer in a freezer-safe bag. To reheat the waffles, toast them in a toaster or oven.

Conclusion:

Pumpkin waffles with cider-honey syrup are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or brunch dish. The waffles are light and fluffy, with a slightly sweet and pumpkiny flavor. The syrup is tangy and sweet, with a hint of apple cider and honey. This recipe is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
