GRANDMA RUBY'S CRANBERRY SALAD RECIPE

Steps:
- Boil the first three ingredients together for 5 minutes. Add the marshmallows and the jello. Stir until the marshmallows have dissolved. Let it cool. When it is cool, add the cup of cold water, nuts, apples and celery. Pour into a 9" square dish and refrigerate until solid and ready to serve. (I usually make this in a clear, square glass dish because it looks pretty from the sides. I serve it cut into small squares because it seems nicer to me than a big glop from a spoon.)
Tips:
- Use fresh and ripe raspberries and cranberries for the best flavor.
- If you don't have fresh berries, you can use frozen berries that have been thawed and drained.
- You can adjust the amount of sugar in the recipe to your liking.
- For a creamier salad, use full-fat sour cream or Greek yogurt.
- If you want a more tart salad, use less sugar and more lemon juice.
- Garnish the salad with fresh mint or parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
- Serve the salad chilled for the best flavor.
Conclusion:
This Raspberry Cranberry Salad is a delicious and refreshing side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your liking. Whether you prefer a sweeter or tarter salad, this recipe has you covered. So next time you are looking for a healthy and delicious salad, give this Raspberry Cranberry Salad a try.
