MEATLOAF ROLLED WITH HAM , CHEESE & SHROOMS
Sauteed mushrooms, ham and cheese are rolled inside the seasoned meat mixture. Be sure to have the ham sliced thin it just there to lend a touch of smokiness. Makes great leftover sandwiches with a touch of ketchup.

ITALIAN ROLLED MEATLOAF
You can make this using all beef or half beef and half ground pork in place of the sausage meat, I have to say that the using the sausage meat with the ground beef is better! You can really add in any spices that you like, I prefer it with oregano, use seasoning salt for this or regular white salt

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook, steam broccoli, crumble up and set aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, egg, soup mix and A1 sauce.
- On a large flat surface (bread board etc.) place the foil.
- Spread meatloaf mixture into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
- You want it as thin as possible because you are going to roll it like a jelly roll sprinkle broccoli then cheese over surface of meat.
- Roll up, starting at the small end of the loaf roll.
- It helps to roll with the foil under, it kinda holds it together as you roll.
- Pinch/close the small ends of the loaf.
- Bake about 1 hour.
- I like to pour more A1 over the top and right before pulling it out of the oven sprinkle a little more cheese on top.

- 10. Spread the top with Philadelphia Italian Herb and Cheese cooking crème or use your favorite topping for meatloaf.
- 11. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes Let meatloaf rest about 15-20 minutes before slicing.
Tips:
- Choose the right meat: Ground beef is the most common choice for meatloaf, but you can also use ground pork, lamb, or turkey. If you're using a leaner meat, add some ground pork or bacon to help keep it moist.
- Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients you use, the better your meatloaf will taste. Make sure your meat is fresh and your vegetables are crisp and flavorful.
- Season your meatloaf well: Don't be afraid to use plenty of seasonings in your meatloaf. Common seasonings include salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and herbs like thyme, rosemary, and sage.
- Mix your meatloaf gently: Overmixing the meatloaf can make it tough. Mix it just until the ingredients are combined.
- Shape your meatloaf into a loaf: You can shape your meatloaf into a traditional oval loaf or a round loaf. If you're making a round loaf, make sure it's not too thick, or it won't cook evenly.
- Bake your meatloaf at a moderate temperature: The ideal temperature for baking meatloaf is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This will help keep it moist and prevent it from drying out.
- Let your meatloaf rest before slicing: Once your meatloaf is done baking, let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This will help the juices redistribute and make the meatloaf easier to slice.
Conclusion:
Meatloaf is a classic comfort food that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With a few simple tips, you can make a delicious and moist meatloaf that your family and friends will love. So next time you're looking for a hearty and satisfying meal, give meatloaf a try.
