SAVORY DEVILED EGGS
I've never been a fan of the traditional "sweet relish" Deviled Eggs, so I created this recipe over the years. They have a nice savory flavor that's always a big hit. I bring them to all kinds of gatherings - potlucks, work parties, block parties and the like. I generally garnish them with whatever's on hand - capers, olives, pimentos, chives. Once I brought them to a Halloween party and dressed them up using capers for eyes, pimento for a mouth, and chives for horns - they truly were Deviled Eggs! One tip: placing the eggs on a cloth napkin covered platter keeps the slippery buggers from sliding all over the place and it adds a nice, festive touch.

Steps:
- 1. Melt butter in 10 inch broiler pan.
- 2. Combine eggs, milk, seasonings; pour into pan.
- 3. Cook over low heat; stirring constantly until eggs begin to thicken.
- 4. Add cream cheese cut in squares.
- 5. Continue cooking, stirring until cheese is blended and eggs are firm but moist.
Tips:
- Use fresh eggs: Fresh eggs will give you the best flavor and texture.

- Season your eggs: Salt and pepper are all you need to season your eggs, but you can also add other spices and herbs to taste.
- Get creative with your toppings: There are endless possibilities for toppings on eggs. Try cheese, bacon, salsa, avocado, or even fruit.
- Make a batch of hard-boiled eggs: Hard-boiled eggs are a great snack or addition to salads and other dishes. You can make a batch ahead of time and keep them in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Use eggs in baking: Eggs are a key ingredient in many baked goods, such as cakes, cookies, and muffins. They add richness, flavor, and structure to baked goods.
Conclusion:
Eggs are a versatile and delicious food that can be enjoyed in many different ways. Whether you like them scrambled, fried, poached, or boiled, there's an egg recipe out there for everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, reach for a few eggs and get creative!
