EASY SEVEN LAYER RICE CASSEROLE

Since there is no precooking the ground beef for this casserole it comes together quite easy, just layer ingredients and bake in just one dish, I always season the ground beef with seasoned salt, black pepper, fresh garlic and a few tablespoons of Parmesan cheese but that is only optional, you can even sprinkle cheddar cheese in the middle also when layering :)

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your casserole will taste. So use fresh ground beef, vegetables, and dairy products.
  • Cook the beef thoroughly: Ground beef should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure that it is safe to eat.
  • Don't overcook the casserole: The casserole should be cooked until the vegetables are tender and the cheese is melted, but not overcooked. Otherwise, the casserole will be dry and tough.
  • Let the casserole rest before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld and the casserole to set. It will also make it easier to cut and serve.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings: Some popular toppings for seven layer casserole include sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and crushed tortilla chips.
