- In a large bowl, add the ingredients for the marinade (yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, tomato paste, all the seasoning and salt/pepper) and whisk to combine.
- Place the chicken cubes in the same bowl and coat the chicken in the marinade. Cover, and let rest/marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
- Thread the chicken on skewers right before grilling. Add one wedge of onions to each skewer, if desired.
- Grill on medium heat for 5-8 minutes per side.
- Serve with pita bread, lettuce and garlic sauce, if desired.

Also fatoosh or tabbouleh salad goes well with it as a side. You'll need metal skewers or a grilling basket (I prefer the basket).

- Season chicken breasts with salt. Cut each breast into 3 to 4 pieces. Place in a large bowl; stir in garlic. Add olive oil, apple cider vinegar, red wine vinegar, white balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, allspice, sumac, and pomegranate syrup. Mix well with your hands.

- Slice the chicken breasts into 2-inch cubes and place them into a medium bowl.
- Add in the remaining ingredients into the bowl, with the chicken.
- Using a spatula, mix well, and scrape off the sides of the bowl.
- Using cling wrap, cover the bowl and place into the fridge to marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
- Heat a grill to medium heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken slices onto skewers.
- Place the chicken kabobs onto the grill and cook for 15 to 25 minutes or until no longer pink on the inside, turning the kabobs every 5 minutes.
- If you are using an oven broiler, Prepare the chicken as directed. Place the chicken kebobs on a deep-dish pan that's filled about 1/4 inch deep with water. Place the deep-dish pan 1 rack lower than the top oven rack, and broil on high for 15 to 25 minutes or until no longer pink on the inside, turning the kabobs every 5 minutes.
