1 egg
3 tablespoons crushed butter-flavored crackers
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
3/4 pound ground beef
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-3/4 cups water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 teaspoon browning sauce, optional
Hot mashed potatoes

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, combine egg, cracker crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and sage. Add beef and mix well. Shape into two patties. , In a medium skillet, cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until browned; drain. Remove to a platter and keep warm. , In the same skillet, saute mushrooms in butter for 2 minutes. Stir in flour; blend well. Add water and bouillon; cook and stir until smooth and thickened. 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 (10 ounce) can beef broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
½ teaspoon dry mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, dry soup mix, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl; add about 1/2 the can of beef broth and continue mixing until beef mixture is thoroughly moistened. Divide mixture into six portions and shape into patties.

1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1 large onion, sliced into rings
1 can beef broth
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons cold water
2 teaspoons cornstarch

Steps:

  • Mix together first 5 ingredients and shape into 4 oval patties about 3/4" thick.
  • Cook patties in skillet until brown on both sides; drain.
  • Add onion slices, broth and mushrooms.

3 large bell peppers, minced
1 large onion, minced
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cups panko bread crumbs

3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons salt
