Tips:

  • Choose the right skillet: Opt for a large skillet with high sides and a tight-fitting lid. This will help ensure even cooking and prevent splattering.
  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make all the difference in the final dish. Look for organic or locally-sourced turkey and asparagus when possible.
  • Season generously: Don't be afraid to season the turkey and asparagus well. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika are all great options.
  • Cook the turkey in batches: If you're using a lot of turkey, cook it in batches to prevent overcrowding the skillet. This will help ensure that the turkey cooks evenly.
  • Don't overcook the asparagus: Asparagus cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Aim for a tender-crisp texture.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after cooking. The turkey and asparagus will be at their peak flavor.
