Number Of Ingredients 1

6-8 pork chops

Steps:

  • Spray inside crock or casserole dish with cooking spray. Drain beans if there's a lot of liquid in the cans. Stir together ketchup, molasses and onion. Pour half of ketchup mixture into beans and stir to combine. Place beans in bottom of crock or casserole dish. Place pork chops over beans. Spread remaining ketchup mixture over pork chops. Slow cook on high 5-6 hours or low 7-8 hours. Or bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Tips:

  • For the baked beans, use a variety of beans for a more flavorful dish. Some good options include kidney beans, black beans, and pinto beans.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of pork chops. Bone-in chops will provide more flavor, while boneless chops are easier to eat.
  • Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper. You can also add other spices, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
  • Sear the pork chops in a skillet before adding them to the slow cooker. This will help to brown the chops and lock in the flavor.
  • Cook the pork chops on low for 6-8 hours, or until they are fall-apart tender.
  • Serve the pork chops with the baked beans and your favorite sides. Some good options include mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

This slow cooker pork chops and baked beans recipe is an easy and delicious way to feed your family a hearty and satisfying meal. The pork chops are fall-apart tender and the baked beans are packed with flavor. This recipe is perfect for a busy weeknight or a lazy weekend.
