Tips:

  • Use high-quality bread for the best results. A sturdy bread, such as sourdough or French bread, will hold up well to the melted cheese and other ingredients.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of cheese. A combination of sharp cheddar and Gruyère is a classic, but you could also try smoked Gouda, mozzarella, or fontina.
  • If you don't have time to make your own tomato-artichoke spread, you can use a store-bought version. Just be sure to choose one that is made with real tomatoes and artichokes, and not just tomato paste and flavorings.
  • To make the melts even more flavorful, you can add a layer of sliced avocado or bacon before adding the cheese.
  • Serve the melts immediately, while the cheese is still melted and gooey.

Conclusion:

Smoked turkey melts with tomato-artichoke spread are a quick and easy meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner or lunch. They are also a great way to use up leftover smoked turkey. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and satisfying sandwich that the whole family will love.
