Time 1h20m

Yield 8 to 12 servings

Number Of Ingredients 12

Nonstick cooking spray, for the parchment
1/4 cup milk
2 large eggs
One 18.4-ounce box brownie mix
2/3 cup (about 11 tablespoons) salted butter, melted
2/3 cup marshmallow cream
Three 1.55-ounce milk chocolate bars, 2 separated into segments, 1 chopped, for garnish
1 sleeve graham crackers (9 large rectangles), broken into small pieces
One 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows
1/4 cup bottled salted caramel sauce
1 cup mini chocolate-coated candies
1/2 cup multi-colored sprinkles

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a 9-by-13-inch cake pan with parchment, allowing it to hang over the sides. Coat with cooking spray.
  • Whisk together the milk and eggs in a medium bowl. Fold in the brownie mix until you have a smooth mixture. Stir in the butter.
  • Pour 2 cups of the batter into the prepared pan and spread to even out the surface. Drop spoonfuls of the marshmallow cream on top of the batter and use a wooden skewer or knife to create a swirling pattern. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top. Arrange the segments of chocolate bar on top. Next, sprinkle over half of the graham crackers.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and sprinkle over the mini marshmallows. Bake until the marshmallows start to brown a little, an additional 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Drizzle over the salted caramel. Sprinkle the remaining graham crackers, chopped chocolate bar, mini chocolate candies and sprinkles over the caramel sauce.
  • Using the parchment, remove the whole brownie bar from the pan. Slice into squares and serve.

Time 1h

unsalted butter, for the pan
flour, for the pan (or use cocoa)
1 (20 ounce) package brownie mix (or any box labeled for a 9x13-inch pan)
3 large eggs, at room temperature, lightly beaten
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup milk

Steps:

  • Position the rack in the lower third of the oven.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Butter and flour 9x13 inch pan (I like to use cocoa when baking anything chocolate, that way you don't have any white flour on it).
  • Place brownie mix, beaten eggs, melted butter, and milk in a large bowl.
  • Stir with a wooden spoon until smooth.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Place pan on a wire rack.
  • Maintain oven temperature.
  • The moment the pan is out of the oven sprinkle the mini-marshmallows over the top.
  • Then cover with graham crackers, breaking some as necessary to cover the entire pan.
  • Place pan back in oven and bake for 2 minutes, to melt the marshmallows.
  • Remove pan from oven and gently press the graham crackers down into the melted topping-be careful; it's very HOT.
  • Cool the pan completely on a wire rack.
  • Then turn it over to unmold the brownies onto a cutting board.
  • Place a wire rack on the top and invert once again (so that the graham crackers are back on top).
  • Cut into 24 pieces.

HOMEMADE S'MORES BROWNIES RECIPE

Homemade S'mores Brownies Recipe image

All you need are a few simple ingredients for these Homemade S'mores Brownies. A fast and easy family dessert.

Provided by Camille Beckstrand

Categories     Dessert

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup butter
8 Tablespoons cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
pinch salt
2 cups mini marshmallows
4 graham cracker sheets
3 (1.55) ounce Hershey Chocolate Candy Bars

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Once butter is melted, stir in cocoa until smooth. Pour into a mixing bowl.
  • Then add in sugar and eggs to the mixing bowl and stir together.
  • Add in vanilla, flour, and salt and beat together well.
  • Spoon batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 to 28 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Remove pan from oven and top with marshmallows, graham crackers, and candy bar pieces. Place pan back in oven and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until marshmallows start to puff up and chocolate pieces start to melt.
  • Allow brownies to cool completely, then cut into squares and serve.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. A good quality dark chocolate or semisweet chocolate will give your trifle a rich, decadent taste.
  • Don't overbake the brownies. Overbaked brownies will be dry and crumbly, so be sure to check them a few minutes before the recommended baking time to ensure they are done.
  • Use a serrated knife to cut the brownies. This will help to prevent them from crumbling.
  • Layer the trifle in a clear glass bowl or individual serving glasses. This will allow you to see all of the layers and make the trifle more visually appealing.
  • Chill the trifle for at least 4 hours before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the trifle to set.

Conclusion:

The smores brownie trifle is a delicious and impressive dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its layers of chocolate brownies, graham crackers, marshmallow cream, and whipped cream, it is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a special dessert, give this smores brownie trifle a try. You won't be disappointed!
