SNICKERS CARAMEL APPLE SALAD RECIPE - (4.5/5)

Snickers Caramel Apple Salad Recipe - (4.5/5) image

Provided by smaier

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 regular size Snickers Candy Bar
6 apples I used Red Delicious... Granny Smith would also be great
1 (5 oz.) package Vanilla Instant Pudding dry, do not prepare
1/2 cup milk
1 (12 oz.) tub cool whip
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

  • Whisk vanilla pudding packet, 1/2 cup milk and cool whip together until well combined. Chop up apples and Snickers. Stir chopped apples and Snickers into pudding mixture. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with caramel ice cream topping. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Tips:

  • For the Best Flavor: Use fresh, crisp apples. Granny Smith apples are a great choice, as they hold their shape well and have a tart flavor that pairs well with the sweetness of the caramel and Snickers candy bars.
  • Make the Caramel Sauce Ahead of Time: The caramel sauce can be made up to 3 days in advance. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it.
  • Don't Overcook the Apples: The apples should be just tender, but not mushy. Cook them until they can be easily pierced with a fork, but still have a little bit of a bite to them.
  • Use High-Quality Snickers Candy Bars: The quality of the Snickers candy bars will make a big difference in the flavor of the salad. Use fresh, high-quality candy bars for the best results.
  • Serve the Salad Immediately: The salad is best served immediately after it is assembled. The caramel sauce will start to harden as it cools, so don't let the salad sit for too long before serving.

Conclusion:

Snickers Caramel Apple Salad is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its sweet and salty flavor combination, this salad is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dessert, give this Snickers Caramel Apple Salad a try. You won't be disappointed!
