Tips:

- Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cake will be. - Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the batter, resulting in a tender and moist cake. - Gradually add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. This will help to prevent the batter from curdling. - Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing can develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in a tough cake. - Bake the cake in a greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan. A 9-inch round cake pan can also be used, but the baking time may need to be adjusted. - Let the cake cool completely before frosting it.

Conclusion:

Sour cream banana cake with toffee bar topping is a classic dessert that is always a hit. It is perfect for potlucks, bake sales, or any special occasion. The cake is moist and flavorful, with a sweet and crunchy topping. With just a few simple tips, you can make this cake at home and impress your friends and family.
