A very easy and delicious way to cook pork chops with a sweet, but not too sweet, sauce. I recommend serving the pork chops with white rice since the sauce is also excellent on the rice.

Tips:

  • To achieve the perfect sear on your pork chops, ensure your skillet is screaming hot before adding the meat. This will create a flavorful crust while preventing the pork from sticking.
  • To enhance the flavor of the pork chops, marinate them in the Southwestern marinade for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight. This will allow the flavors to penetrate the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and juicy pork chop.
  • If you don't have a grill pan, you can cook the pineapple slices in a regular skillet. Just be sure to grease the pan lightly to prevent sticking.
  • Garnish the pork chops with fresh cilantro and lime wedges just before serving for an extra burst of flavor and color.

Conclusion:

This Southwestern pineapple pork chop recipe is a delicious and easy way to enjoy a flavorful and healthy meal. The combination of sweet pineapple, savory pork, and zesty Southwestern spices creates a dish that is sure to please everyone at the table. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, roasted potatoes, or a fresh salad, for a complete and satisfying meal.
