Tips:

1. Choose the Right Almonds: Select high-quality Marcona almonds for the best flavor and texture. These almonds are known for their larger size, plump shape, and sweet, buttery flavor. 2. Soak the Almonds: Soaking the almonds overnight or for at least 8 hours helps to soften them and makes them more receptive to the flavors of the marinade. This step is optional but highly recommended for achieving the best results. 3. Use Fresh Herbs and Spices: Fresh herbs and spices, such as rosemary, thyme, and paprika, add a burst of flavor to the almonds. Use high-quality spices that are not stale or old for the best flavor. 4. Don't Overcook the Almonds: Overcooking the almonds can make them dry and tough. Keep a close eye on them during frying and remove them from the oil as soon as they turn golden brown. 5. Season to Taste: Once the almonds are fried, season them with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add additional spices or herbs at this point if desired.

Spanish fried Marcona almonds are a delicious and versatile snack that can be enjoyed on their own or used as an ingredient in various dishes.
