Pinch cayenne pepper, or as desired

Tips:

  • For crispier chips, use a mandoline to slice the potatoes evenly. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from sticking together.
  • Soak the potato slices in water for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to remove the starch from the potatoes, which will make them crispier.
  • Toss the potato slices with oil, salt, and spices before baking. This will help them to brown and develop flavor.
  • Bake the potato chips at a high temperature (400 degrees Fahrenheit or higher) for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the potato chips cool completely before serving. This will help them to crisp up even more.
