- In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, combine the salsa, cream, butter and egg. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened., Fill greased muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 400° for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm.

- Remove sausages from casings, break into small pieces and fry in a skillet until cooked and browned. Drain sausage on paper towels, but save grease in skillet.
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease muffin cups or use paper liners.
