Tips:
- For the best results, use fresh strawberries. If using frozen strawberries, thaw them completely and drain off any excess liquid before using.
- To make the cream cheese filling, be sure to use softened cream cheese. This will help it mix smoothly with the other ingredients.
- If you don't have a 9-inch heart-shaped pie pan, you can use a regular 9-inch pie pan. Just trim the excess dough around the edges.
- To prevent the pie crust from becoming soggy, pre-bake it for 10-12 minutes before adding the filling.
- When baking the pie, place it on a baking sheet to catch any drips.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will allow the filling to set and the flavors to meld.
Conclusion:
This strawberry cream cheese sweetheart pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that's perfect for any occasion. The creamy filling and fresh strawberries are a perfect combination, and the heart-shaped crust makes it extra special. With its simple ingredients and step-by-step instructions, this recipe is sure to become a favorite.
